Part-Time COBOL Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time COBOL Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide programming services for the Automated Contracting Preparation System (ACPS) using OpenText Dialog System and OpenText Visual COBOL
• Maintain and develop user interfaces while ensuring adherence to business rules and security guidelines
• Create and maintain modules for system interfacing and generate reports for contracting personnel

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in OpenText Visual COBOL, OpenText Dialog, Visual Studio, and .NET framework
• Comprehensive understanding of converting OpenText screen sets and generating side tables
• Experience in creating RTF files and merging multiple documents without formatting issues
• Knowledge of XML file creation and OpenText Data Tables with IDX Formats
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
