A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative (Non-Exempt).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and compassion
- Facilitate patient entrance processes including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance
- Ensure accurate patient data is collected and maintained in the patient record
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 1-3 years of clerical experience preferred
- High School diploma required; some college helpful
- Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under stress
- Knowledgeable in using various computer systems and proficient with a 10-key calculator
