Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration, scheduling, and reception tasks while ensuring compliance with financial policies
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and manage cash reconciliation and payment entry
• Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and assist with post-discharge care coordination

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 0 - 1 year in a Customer Service role
• 0 - 1 year administrative experience in a medical facility or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred
• Knowledge of hospital environment and third-party payor requirements preferred
