Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve patient account balances through communication with payors and patients
- Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality standards
- Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays to management as necessary
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
- 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate patient accounting applications
- Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
- Understanding of the revenue cycle process and familiarity with insurance types and billing forms
