Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
- Document account activities and maintain productivity and quality standards
- Participate in meetings and training to enhance job knowledge and compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
- 1-4 years of medical claims and/or hospital collections experience
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various systems
- Minimum typing requirement of 45 wpm
- Understanding of revenue cycle processes and insurance collections
