Job Summary
A company is looking for an Early Out Self Pay Representative to resolve patient self-pay balances and provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service while handling inbound and outbound calls with patients
- Accurately document and update account statuses in a timely and efficient manner
- Identify and resolve errors across the revenue cycle and collaborate with internal departments to correct account discrepancies
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of one year of healthcare customer service or medical collections experience required
- Knowledge of insurance terminology such as EOBs, deductibles, and ICD-10 codes preferred
- Proficient in customer service and collections within a healthcare environment
- Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical billing systems preferred
