Patient Accounting Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounting Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform billing, collections, and claims processing
• Provide customer service and support to debtors
• Conduct research, analysis, and follow-up on accounts

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Minimum one year of collections or administrative experience
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims processing and payer requirements
• Experience with EPIC and familiarity with medical terminology, CPT-4, and ICD-10-CM coding preferred
• Post high school coursework in accounting is a plus
