Patient Services Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Services Representative Specialist (PSR) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, pre-registration, and financial clearance for specialty procedures
• Act as the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and hospitals regarding financial aspects of services
• Handle patient calls, verify insurance information, and assist with pre-operative requirements

Required Qualifications and Education

• High School Degree or GED
• Prior experience in healthcare or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Cadence, and Connect care is preferred
• Experience as a Healthcare/Medical Receptionist is preferred
