Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications to resolve billing issues and update patient information
- Manage a high volume of calls from patients and insurance companies, addressing concerns and processing accounts
- Document customer issues and liaise with collections to ensure accurate billing adjustments
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in call center, customer service, or medical billing is beneficial
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and basic ICD-10 and CPT coding is helpful
- Proficiency in using personal computers, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
