Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist - US.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll cycles
• Ensures compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations in all operating states
• Tracks and processes prevailing wage rates and prepares certified payroll reports for public works projects

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required
• Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll Certification preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing is considered an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is a must
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles and practices, including tax laws and regulations
