About the position
The Payroll Specialist at TeamViewer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees in the US and Canada. This role involves ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, managing payroll records, and collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and proficiency in payroll software, particularly ADP modules.
Responsibilities
• Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly/monthly basis using ADP modules.

• Review and verify timesheets and attendance records for accuracy.

• Calculate wages, deductions, commissions, and other earnings.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
,
• Ensure benefits, garnishments, and other deductions are accurate.

• Review Vacation Time for accuracy and alignment with company policy.
,
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
,
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
,
• Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
,
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and tax reporting.
,
• Support in payroll-related projects like the switch to a global payroll solution.
,
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of proven experience in Payroll or in a similar role.
,
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
,
• Proficiency in using payroll software/systems (ADP modules is a plus).
,
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and especially Excel.
,
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice-to-haves
• Certification (e.g., CPP) or coursework in payroll administration.

• Experience with multi-state payroll and compliance.

• Fluent English / Spanish an added plus.
