Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pre Service Specialist who works in a fast-paced call center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and make phone calls as a liaison between patients, payers, and healthcare team members
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, medical necessity, and pre-authorization requirements
- Calculate patient estimates based on scheduled services and assist in rescheduling appointments when necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in pre-registration, scheduling, or financial counseling
- Preferred: Certification as CHAA or CRCR
- Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT codes is preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
