Principal Core Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Core Network Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the engineering team
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies to ensure alignment with industry standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years' experience in an ISP environment and 7+ years' experience in designing network architectures
• Expert routing knowledge in OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, RSVP-TE, and multicast
• Extensive experience in evaluating, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware
• Advanced industry certifications such as JNCIE, CCIE-SP, or equivalent preferred
