Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of a distributed computing environment based on Databricks
• Manage data governance across multiple systems and ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable data pipelines and optimize data storage and retrieval systems

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in designing and architecting data systems, including warehousing and ML Ops platforms
• Proven experience in large-scale data systems design using modern cloud-based tools
• Expertise in data architecture and design for both structured and unstructured data
• Fluency with modern cloud data stacks and data management practices
• Experience with real-time data streaming and advanced analytics solutions
