Principal Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performance team of data scientists and analysts for predictive and forecasting models
• Forge partnerships with business/technology leaders and provide thought leadership on data science projects
• Drive the development of analytical models and oversee the discovery, design, testing, and deployment processes

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science and Analytics with a proven track record as a lead data scientist
• PhD preferred in Operations Research, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields
• Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading data scientists
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or R for Data Science
• Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms
