Principal Engineer - Apache Spark

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer specializing in Apache Spark.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of Apache Spark and new features in Scala/Java/Python
• Debug deployment issues and perform system test analysis in large-scale distributed systems
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to enhance the Data Engineering Experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years; or a PhD with 4+ years
• Experience leading complex product enhancements
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language: Java, Scala, GoLang, Rust, C++, or Python
• Experience with systems design and development
• Open-minded with a desire to learn and build innovative products
