Principal Program Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Program Manager to support the portfolio of all IT projects that support the Electric Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio of IT projects related to Electric Operations, including Distribution, Transmission, and Substation
• Oversee project managers, track delivery, review deliverables, and ensure alignment with business outcomes
• Lead the IT project initiation process, including funding approvals, staffing needs, and contract activities

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in program management within IT projects
• Strong understanding of Electric Operations and related compliance requirements
• Experience in financial monitoring and forecasting for IT projects
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations
• Leadership experience in managing project teams and stakeholders
