Principal Software Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Architect-Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic architectural vision across multiple product teams to meet business objectives
• Lead architecture for large-scale, data-intensive platforms, including batch and real-time processing systems
• Partner with senior engineering and product leaders to ensure architectural alignment with organizational priorities

Qualifications and Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior/principal architect role
• Proven success in leading architecture for complex, multi-tenant platforms involving big data and AI
• Expertise in architecting cloud-native platforms, preferably Azure
• Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and real-time event processing
• Experience with designing platform foundations for AI/ML workloads
