Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Software (SuperNatural Vision).

Key Responsibilities

• Track top-level features, requirements, and specifications for the Super Natural Vision Infotainment System (SNVIS)
• Manage vendor engagement and drive engineering development for all hardware and software components
• Capture and track system requirements, including weight, power estimates, and thermal performance

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in a software engineering role for a shipped product in aviation or related industries
• Experience in managing complex systems architecture for consumer electronics or IFE/avionics platforms
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• 8-10 years of applied engineering experience shipping best-in-class products
• Experience with requirements tracking software such as Jama Connect, Doors, or Polarion
