Position: Product Designer – Pet Health Contentin Boston, MA or Bellevue, WA. You will work on providing engaging, empowering content and pet health tools for millions of pet parents. Your role involves translating customer and business needs into innovative designs, defining structure, layout, and interaction across multiple services and domains, and collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, and creative teams.
What You’ll Do
Product Vision & Problem Solving:Transform customer goals into purposeful products; develop multiple solutions based on design principles and Chewy’s design language.
End-to-End Design Process:Manage the entire design process from discovery to full-fidelity prototypes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with partners, product managers, developers, content strategists, user researchers, and other designers.
Design Consistency & Quality:Ensure cohesion across products.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:Present designs and decisions to partners, including executives.
Culture & Leadership:Promote Chewy’s culture and principles within your team.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years experience in UX design, interaction design, or related roles with a strong portfolio.
Experience delivering high-quality digital products and rapid prototyping skills.
1+ years leading large-scale product design programs.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Willingness to travel and work in the local office.
Bonus
Strong visual design skills and experience with design systems.
Experience conducting small research studies independently.
Location & Work Arrangement:Hybrid model (3 days in hub location per week). This role is not fully remote.
