Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Security and Privacy Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud and on-premises networks, applications, and API endpoints
• Manage automated security tooling and collaborate with software developers to identify and remediate vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC
• Ensure compliance with privacy laws and assist in developing security standards and processes

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of direct experience in security engineering
• Deep understanding of web application functionality and security flaws
• Experience in a DevOps environment and familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure
• Knowledge of security tooling such as Burp Suite, Veracode, and AWS native tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
