Property Underwriter License Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Property Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and rate shared, layered, and excess property risks
• Grow and maintain successful client relationships
• Review and negotiate form wordings and coverages while managing portfolio profitability

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of Excess and Surplus Property Underwriting experience
• Robust understanding of insurance and underwriting terms, definitions, and processes
• Four-year college degree in insurance, business administration, actuary science, or management strongly preferred
• Must hold active applicable insurance license(s) or obtain them upon hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with AIR's Touchstone system is preferred
