Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day lobbying efforts and secure support for public policy initiatives
- Build and strengthen relationships with Members of Congress and their staff
- Assist in drafting legislation and organizing educational events for Congress
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in government relations, issue advocacy, or lobbying
- Demonstrated interest in public policy, animal protection, and government accountability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Must reside in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
