QA Test Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Test Engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing software and systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and stability
• Designing and executing tests to ensure products meet specified requirements and quality standards
• Developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts while collaborating with developers to troubleshoot defects

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• BS/BA with 3 years of experience, or AA/AS with 7 years of experience, or High School Diploma with 11 years of experience in testing
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript for test automation
• Knowledge of system-level and integration testing strategies for distributed architectures
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and test management software
