R&D Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an R&D Engineer II to contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex development activities, including design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules
• Conduct bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products, developing solutions for issues discovered by QA or product support
• Understand marketing requirements for products, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues

Required Qualifications and Education

• BS in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 3-5 years of experience, or MS with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Working experience in technical software development demonstrated through academic, research, or industry projects
• Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming
• Experience with Java and C# / .NET
• Must be based on the East Coast due to remote work requirements
