A company is looking for a Reconciliation Specialist to join their Mortgage Servicing team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve aged reconciling items in payment clearing accounts
- Match transactions from multiple sources to identify discrepancies
- Maintain documentation of reconciliation activities and collaborate with internal teams
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or financial operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is a plus
- Ability to work independently on complex issues requiring research
- Experience with mortgage servicing systems and general ledger platforms is a plus
