A company is looking for a Referral Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides primary referral and inquiry customer service for the Agency's services
- Manages incoming calls to the Intake department and coordinates referrals appropriately
- Initiates required referral documentation in the EMR and records insurance/authorization information
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- Additional training as a medical secretary or licensed practical nurse preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology is preferred
- Four years of experience in a health care environment preferred or equivalent education and experience
