Job Summary
A company is looking for a Referral Service Representative to coordinate incoming and external referrals throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process incoming and external referrals accurately and timely
- Gather and analyze data to support referral efforts and provide excellent service
- Assist patients, providers, and external facilities with referral services
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service
- Preferred completion of a vocational technical program related to health services
- Successful completion of medical terminology and anatomy & physiology courses at time of hire is preferred
- Proficiency with typing and keyboard skills is required
- Experience in customer service within healthcare or health insurance is preferred
