Job Summary
A company is looking for a Registry Technician I to perform administrative and clerical support for Cancer Registry functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with screening and case ascertainment processes for cancer cases
- Maintain follow-up and outcome information for cancer cases in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare records and reports for Cancer Committee and quality reviews, and assist with data collection and other registry activities
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate; associate or college degree preferred
- Courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Medical records experience preferred, with oncology field experience as a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
