Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Certified Billing and Coding - Medical Assisting Adjunct (ASMOA).

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting online lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical courses as required
• Holding office hours to meet students' needs and ensuring prompt responses to inquiries
• Providing engaging weekly recorded lectures and keeping students informed of their progress

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
• CPC - Certified Professional Coder (AAPC), CCS (AHIMA), or equivalent licensure
• 2-3 years of recent experience in medical billing, coding, or medical office management
• Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc.)
• Foundational or advanced knowledge in medical terminology, medical law and ethics, and anatomy and physiology
