A company is looking for a PFS Customer Service Representative PBO.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls and provide assistance to resolve billing and payment issues
- Process payments, adjustments, claims, and financial applications accurately and timely
- Reconcile account balances and pursue payments while ensuring maximum reimbursement
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
- Knowledge of patient financial services or insurance industry processes, typically acquired through one or more years of experience
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision and work independently
- Strong knowledge of insurance plans, deductibles, and co-insurances
- Proficiency in common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
