A company is looking for a UR Index Intake Coordinator, responsible for preparing electronic medical case files and processing Utilization Review referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, upload, and label medical case documents into appropriate files
- Process referrals and manage the intake of Utilization Review cases
- Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and handling incoming calls
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in computer programs, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a HIPAA compliant home office environment
