Remote Python Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Software Engineer for a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python
• Develop and optimize relational database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL
• Build and manage scalable microservices with best practices in mind

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python (Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks preferred)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL including performance tuning and advanced query optimization
• 2+ years building and deploying microservices in production environments
• Experience working with RESTful APIs or third-party API integrations
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment
