RHIT Licensed Visiting Professor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Visiting Professor for Health Information Management or Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver courses effectively across various modalities and provide academic support to students
• Engage in course development, assessment support, and mentor other faculty members
• Participate in professional development activities and scholarly activities in the field of study

Required Qualifications:

• A master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the field being taught from a regionally accredited institution
• Current industry experience in a healthcare setting and relevant certifications (e.g., RHIT)
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, including electronic health records and IT systems
• Subject matter expertise in health information management, systems, privacy, and security
• Flexibility to work evenings and the ability to collaborate in a diverse environment
