RN Patient Safety Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Safety Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate medical and surgical potential quality issues, patient safety events, and sentinel events
• Conduct timely reviews of electronic medical records and perform root cause analysis for sentinel events
• Participate in quality committees and collaborate with Medical Directors on complex care issues

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• 3+ years of clinical medical/surgical acute care experience
• 3+ years of clinical acute behavioral health/psychiatric experience
• Proven ability to investigate, analyze, and synthesize data
• Experience in organizing quality data in reporting formats
