Security Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and submit vendor risk assessments while identifying compliance gaps and proposing corrective actions
• Define and implement regular security auditing procedures and maintain documentation of security controls and policies
• Lead initiatives for incident monitoring, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management while collaborating with engineering on secure configurations

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in a security engineering or compliance role
• Practical experience with cloud security, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
• Understanding of US and EU security and compliance expectations
• Prior engineering experience is preferred
