Security Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Operations Engineer to safeguard their cloud platform and ensure security across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts and reports, assessing severity and routing actionable tickets
• Manage security tooling and improve alerting systems for effectiveness and low noise
• Coordinate incident response activities and support compliance initiatives for audits

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center or similar environment
• Familiarity with bug-bounty platforms, compliance tooling, and ticketing systems
• Knowledge of SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or related standards
• Experience in a globally distributed team and comfort with asynchronous communication
• Hands-on scripting for automation and experience with threat-intel feeds is a plus
