Semantic Modeling Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Semantic Modeling Lead to shape data understanding and utilization across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and governance of ontologies and semantic models for data interoperability
• Design the semantic layer to enable self-service analytics and ensure data is structured for AI applications
• Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for the semantic layer, including key business metrics and usage guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in semantic modeling
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing concepts and data governance principles
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud-based data warehouses, preferably Snowflake
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Science, or a related field
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field is preferred
