Senior Accountant with CPA License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant/Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accounting contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, overseeing their development and performance management
• Manage client compliance and execute the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's in Accounting and/or CPA license preferred
• 3-5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, with 2+ years in audit work at a CPA firm
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with Xero, Intacct, and NetSuite is a plus
• Proven track record in complex revenue recognition and payroll management
• Experience in leading accounting process improvements and technology implementations
