Senior API Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior API Security Engineer to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure wallet-to-chain, wallet-to-KYC, and wallet-to-vault API integrations
• Implement encryption, token validation, and mutual TLS for sensitive communication
• Conduct threat modeling and enforce robust API security controls and rate limiting

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in application or infrastructure security
• 2-4 years focused on securing REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs
• Deep knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, and API gateway security policies
• Experience with vault services like HashiCorp Vault and KYC integrations
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Go
