Senior AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (EKS SME).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security teams to define and implement security standards for AWS
• Design, implement, and manage EKS clusters for microservices and container-based applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in EKS environments

Required Qualifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) and Kubernetes operators
• Experience with multi-cluster, multi-region EKS strategies
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and work outside of normal business hours as needed
