Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the network, including troubleshooting and monitoring, while diagnosing and resolving issues
• Design and improve network architecture to support future expansion and multi-tenancy
• Configure and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), network security services, and automate operational tasks

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in a fully-remote, distributed team
• Expertise in OSI model layers and fundamental networking protocols (TCP, UDP, DNS, etc.)
• Experience with proxy, reverse proxy, and load balancer technologies
• Familiarity with tools such as nginx, AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes networking
• Ability to write and understand scripts in languages like Python, Rust, Go, or Bash
