Senior Communications Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to develop and manage communications for the FEWS NET Learning and Data Hub project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communications materials, including guidance documents and training content
• Translate complex technical concepts into accessible reporting and documentation
• Manage social media platforms and support routine project communications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, international development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or technical writing, ideally in international development
• Familiarity with international development or government contracting environments preferred
• Proven experience in developing and executing strategic communication plans
• Demonstrated expertise in technical writing for diverse audiences
