A company is looking for a Senior Data Scientist focused on Optimization and Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain models of distributed energy resources for operational and financial optimization
• Build, test, and deploy optimization models using relevant tools and solvers
• Monitor and improve live optimization systems and troubleshoot complex issues

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in mathematical optimization, particularly in energy systems
• Proficient in Python with production-level software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of electricity markets and distributed energy resources
• Familiarity with optimization frameworks and solvers such as Pyomo and Gurobi
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, version control, and observability practices
