Senior Database Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join their database services team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform database administration, including provisioning new MongoDB clusters and working with developers on design and queries
• Manage software installation, patches, upgrades, and database schema changes, along with tuning and replication
• Provide 24x7 support and participate in the DBA on-call rotation schedule

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
• 8-10 years of DBA experience
• Deep experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL databases
• Experience with databases hosted on Linux
• Knowledge of database architecture and high availability solutions
