Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Design Engineer - Air Compressor.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop reciprocating and centrifugal compressor products, managing project work plans and execution
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to create overall compressor system solutions and manage development costs
• Prepare test procedures and analyze results to ensure product performance compliance and identify improvement areas

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in the reciprocating or centrifugal compressor industry
• Knowledge of material processing, industry standards, and proficiency in solid modeling programs (SolidWorks preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances; U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience in project management or leadership in a team environment preferred
