A company is looking for a Contract - Sr. Environment Artist.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build realistic, atmospheric environments for horror games, focusing on immersive interior spaces
- Own full environment scenes from blockout to final polish, utilizing strong modeling, texturing, and lighting fundamentals
- Provide feedback on environment execution across teams to ensure artistic quality and alignment with the horror tone
Required Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of environment set dressing, modeling, and texturing for realistic, horror-inspired spaces
- Solid foundation in art fundamentals including composition, lighting, form, and color
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior artists
- Working knowledge of Niagara and VFX pipelines, with an eye for integrating atmospheric effects
- Understanding of dynamic lighting workflows and optimization techniques for Unreal Engine
