Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior GIS Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of GIS solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced GIS solutions and geospatial applications
• Architect and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and performance
• Lead GIS projects from requirements gathering to deployment, providing technical leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in GIS solution development and support
• Hands-on experience with GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS or equivalent open-source tools
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python and SQL for automation
• Experience working with geospatial databases like PostgreSQL/PostGIS or SQL Server
