Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - z/OS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, and implementation of new z/OS operating systems and software
• Monitor, tune, and debug systems software, ensuring optimal performance
• Participate in incident and problem resolution, including on-call support

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance, including SMP/E
• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and Unix System Services (USS)
• Ability to work well in a team and handle stress in emergency situations
