Senior Manager, Databricks

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager to lead the strategy and operation of their data platform across multiple cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and platform specialists, setting goals and enabling professional growth
• Manage escalations and support operations for platform usage, ensuring high availability and customer satisfaction
• Define a strategic roadmap for platform deployment and usage, aligned with business priorities across cloud services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role, building and scaling teams
• Deep technical expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and data pipeline engineering
• Hands-on experience with multiple public cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for data workloads using relevant tools
